Weeks activities. Planted trees collected from PNW in Jan and grew as cuttings 2 months in greenhouse. Pulled & pinned drip irrigation system! Now dripping at 2g/hr
Next week install weather stations in PNW on our temp/precip gradient…

2 yrs ago we started putting together project to look at plant-microbe-soil interactions over temp/moisture gradients in Cascade Mts as a proxy for understanding resilience to climate change. Yesterday Retreat Fire moved through a study site near Yakima. Not a good sign...
