A natural complement to the Christian Book Endorsement Awards, it's time for the Yellow-Orange Hued 'Back to the Camera' Missionary Book Awards:
Just in case anyone's missing my collection of yellow-orange hued 'back to the camera' missionary book covers, here's some released this month to go with the others....
(the 3rd one is a very good example of how you really need to check your AI images before publishing them...)
Disturbingly true for a disturbingly high number of articles.
See also book introductions v whole book.
How many tickets will I need to buy to give me a 99.9% of getting Paul?
All four 'BEATLES' biopics are set to release on the same day in April 2028.
The member of the band you watch will be randomized when you buy your ticket.

Always pleased to see other evangelical colleges in the UK doing good things in good ways and I'm delighted to see this. All the best to our friends at Union in this exciting Research Conference ahead!
Union is pleased to announce its first Evangelical Theological Research Conference in Bridgend, Wales, 20–21 May 2027.
Established to facilitate the growth of evangelical scholarship, this new conference provides an opportunity for pastors, scholars and PhD students to share their own research, and hear keynote addresses from Professor Donald Fairbairn, Dr Steffen Jenkins, Dr Peter Sanlon, Dr Kirsten Birkett and Dr Eben Adu.
Really enjoying this new podcast from @TheUpstreamC the first two episodes have been great. They're short (<20 mins), engaging, straight to the point (they respect people's time) and rich in gospel-soaked practical missions thought. Comes straight from the heart. Love it.
A wonderful, humble, passionate, faithful and faith filled talk from a dear Christian brother. Well worth a listen.
A joy to have Blessing Chishanu with us in chapel today preaching from Lamentations 3. Check out the full talk on the Chapel Talks Podcast feed - a reminder that Christ Is Enough! #maketimetothrive
Sad and significant news for many. The excellent 'Centre for the Study of World Christianity' is located here, and sounds like they're now PhD's only. Wishing them well.
More evidence of the massive upheaval in theological education sector right now.

I think social media would actually be better if men were banned unless supervised by a competent woman
Christian nationalist pastor Brian Sauvé says women should not have access to social media unless "some competent man is curating and blocking and directing and taking a look at what's going on." peoplefor.org/rightwingwatch…
Sorry to say Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn are in Kampala this week for their 'Big Fix' conference. There's going to be a huge crowd to watch them do what they do
I wrote a dissertation once on Copeland's teachings on faith. Let's just say I'm not converted to his doctrine yet
Brilliant 👏👏👏
Well done Crosslinks.
Understanding some of the reasons mission partners serve overseas, and the things that can impede that, is crucial.
Church leaders, we'd love for you to read this... 10 mins of your time very well invested!
🎉 Big week for Crosslinks! After months of research, partner conversations and hard work, our Pathways to Mission booklet is here. 📖 Download it today and share it with church leaders, friends and anyone exploring mission. 🌍

Barnabas sermon... Part II (following last week). Have really enjoyed this mini-series on the wonderful character and convictions of Barnabas... Always with one eye on thinking through his story in light of global Christianity today. Hope you can have a listen!
When our self-worth is tied to our platform, another person's growth feels like a threat. @ChrisHowles highlights how gospel identity sets us free to make ourselves smaller so others can thrive. Listen to the full episode now open.spotify.com/episode/0I1…

I found this a deeply challenging (and in true Barnabas style, encouraging) sermon - really grateful to work with such excellent colleagues who keep pointing us to Jesus.
