Who else thinks sales is something we should be teaching juniors and seniors in high school? There really needs to be a life skills class for teens. Sales, leadership, personal development, personal finance.
Sales is one of the most important skills to learn. Not sure why there aren't any courses on sales in formal education.

In my opinion, the single best thing you can do to improve your experience with AI is reverse prompting. Most people type a one-line question into AI with zero context, get a mediocre answer back, and either conclude the whole thing is overhyped or never realize how much value they're leaving on the table. I get it. That's how we all used Google for 20 years. But think about what you're doing when you write a prompt that way. You're pretending you already know the scope, the plan, and the right questions to ask. You're handing a to-do list to a superintelligence. Why do you think you know the plan better than it does? That's like going to the doctor and diagnosing your own problem instead of letting them do their job. So flip it. It's called reverse prompting, and it works like this: 1 - Tell the AI what you're trying to accomplish. 2 - Give it the five things you're already thinking. 3 - Ask it what five things you're NOT thinking about. 4 - Have it ask YOU five questions it needs answered. 5 - Then tell it to write the prompt for the project - and respond to it. Instead of a one-liner, you get a full-blooded plan built on questions you never would have thought to ask. That gap is the whole game. It's why an AI audit of my own website turned up 88 problems in five minutes when I only knew about 13 of them. What you know to ask for is always the bottleneck. PS - Helping founders and business leaders put AI to work is what I do all day. This month I'm doing free AI strategy calls - book one on Intro with code TRAVIS30, and just tell me a little about what you're working on when you book. Real problems welcome. That's the fun part.

3 months ago, I sold my 1st company, Skio, for $105M cash. Now my 2nd company, Icon, just raised $30M to launch something the world has never seen. For $1000, we make 6 human creator ads (no AI, 100% real). We find creators, ship products, write scripts, & edit videos. It's risk-free: - Full refund if you don't love your ads. - You don't pay until you review 6 scripts. - Unlimited human revisions. Today, Icon introduces the world's first Agency. We're not building a normal agency: - We bought a $12M domain. - We're backed by Founders Fund and OpenAI + Google DeepMind leaders. It’s impossible to hire a creative team like ours for even $30K/mo: - Creative Directors who've worked with $100M brands (IM8, Obvi, Ridge). They update our format library daily based on winning ads (street interviews, skits, & 20+ more). - 12+ scriptwriters with $80M in Meta adspend. - 200+ in-house editors who've edited 100K ads. One more thing... We're giving away our internal Google Drive with 1000 winning ads that have driven $100M+ in revenue. You can make $100K copying these ads if you know what you're doing. Want the Google Drive? 1. Retweet this post. 2. Comment "icon". 3. DM me this post’s link & I'll DM you back with the Google Drive. [Bonus] Get 3 free human creator ads if you do the above and we end up working together.

Freddy needs some of that sweet NIL money. How many social media managers are reaching out to him right now? How many are completely clueless about the whole thing and will read about it 2 weeks from now?

Some great advice for our next generations.

"The beautiful, terrifying thing about the Christian faith is that it doesn’t begin with our performance. It begins with a God who loved us while we were still a mess." This is a must read post, especially for guys between 30 and 50. @BrentBeshore thank you for writing this.

"They wanted to have run 100 miles. They didn’t want to run 100 miles." Are you chasing the wrong goals for the wrong reasons? Sometimes I find myself wanting the outcome without the journey. Great post by @theryandreyer about alignment & belonging. open.substack.com/pub/ryandr…

There's an old Jerry Garcia tune called Run For The Roses and has a killer line: "You just want the Cup, but you don't want the race."

There are people in this country who rooted against their own country and own team in this game. The team who wanted to share their victory with the children of their teammate who was killed by a drunk driver. Perspective.

Some people run towards the danger. This dude is a hero.
>American airman asleep on a train in France while on vacation with his childhood friends >Wakes up to the sound of screaming and breaking glass >Sees a terrorist step into the aisle carrying an AK-47 and 300 rounds of ammo >Doesn't look for an exit, doesn't hesitate >Sprints 30 feet down the aisle straight at the barrel of the gun, completely unarmed >The terrorist pulls the trigger; the rifle miraculously jams >Tackles him, gets slashed in the neck and hand with a box cutter, almost losing his thumb >Ignores the bleeding, chokes the attacker unconscious with his bare hands >Credits God for the jammed rifle and his survival >Saves everyone on board Patriot airman Spencer Stone is a hero.

Is there a way to know how long your Uber driver has been driving that day? A pilot can't fly a certain amount of hours in a row. I'm guessing Uber has some sort of safeguard?

Last few hours with the Birds being Super Bowl Champs. Terrible season trying to defend their championship but that game last year was insane.
