When was the last time the Rocket winner was also top 10 in Selke voting? Serious question - has it ever actually happened?

I think an easy way to improve the Leafs offence is to just revamp the entire fourth line with young, fast, hungry guys. Throw in Robertson and whoever else has been producing in the minors/juniors and let them play the full season.

The Leafs just had a franchise record season and then took the 2x defending champions to a one-goal Game 7. It would literally make no sense to fire the coach or GM. The roster could absolutely use some tinkering but you don’t fix something that isn’t broken.

The only thing that’s broken is the portion of the fanbase who thinks that the effort and product this year was equivalent to that of past years. All losses are not equal.

First crazy offseason idea: move Tavares to LW or 3C and get a 2C that can keep up with Nylander.

I know Matthews and Marner generally had a good series but it's hard to see what McDavid just did for Edmonton and not feel like those guys had to do more. McDavid willed that team to a Game 7 win.

I like to think I’m pretty levelheaded for a Leafs fan because I wasn’t calling for anyone to be traded after last year’s collapse. But you gotta make a statement this time - this core isn’t getting anything done.

Kerfoot’s controller just died eh

Regardless of what happens, because the curse is definitely real, the Leafs are the better team in this series

Best single-season goal scoring performances in NHL history, era adjusted as per Hockey Reference. By my math, if Auston Matthews gets to 65 goals he will have the second-best season of all time. 71 goals, which is his 82-game pace, would break the record.

If you workout, take a deload. They’re magic.
Comments on this kinda sealed the fact that Matthews is the Hart favourite

Auston Matthews greeted by “MVP” chants as he takes the ice at Leafs morning skate ⁦@BarDown⁩
Matthews is on pace for 70 goals over 82 games, and he wasn't fully healthy for the first few weeks of the season. That's pure insanity.

The Leafs have eight legitimate NHL defensemen and rank top 10 in expected goals against at 5v5 - ahead of Florida and not far behind Tampa and Colorado. Can we please move past the narrative that their defense is a problem?
