Anytime someone tries to make fun of humanities degrees as “basket weaving,” think of this. Basket weaving is a site of cultural and indigenous knowledges, fugitive ecologies, plants as material, oral traditions, folk wisdom, and artistry. This is so beautiful.
At one point during Practical Magic 2 they use their ancient witch powers to turn on the blender to make margaritas.
