Great night catching with a lot of awesome people, Q2 will always hold a special place in my heart. No trophy tonight but #AustinFC is alive and well. True love will find you in the end.
I’ve reached some milestones recently in my golfing journey, and at the current moment would technically be eligible to enter qualifying for both the USGA Mid-Am and U.S. Amateur Four-Ball.
Maybe I will next year. But teeing it up in local competition has been its own reward.
Throughout all of that, I’ve been navigating a lot of difficult challenges in my life. A move, changing careers, getting rejected for jobs. And while it’s not the same, golf has taught me that if you just keep showing up and controlling your effort and attitude, there’s a reward.

BOYS BBALL: Keith Diebler is retiring from coaching boys basketball. Diebler racked up over 400 wins including the 2005 state championship across nearly five decades. He told his team Wednesday morning. My exclusive story (@JDiebler15): sanduskyregister.com/news/51…
Buckeye basketball, more than football, was my first sports love. It’s beyond cool to see it led by a kid from Northwest Ohio who went to my parents’ high school. He made it fun again. LFG. – at New Orleans, LA

Hear @RossBjorkAD and @JakeDiebler address the team this afternoon to announce the news.

I spoke to Sebastian Driussi about the differences between playing at River & in MLS, what drives him & what #AustinFC must do to make 2024 a success after a frustrating 2023.

Can’t recommend this interview enough. My favorite of 2024 so far, and it’s a high bar. – at Bluffton, OH
On January 30, we were honored to have the legendary Carl Weathers on the podcast.
Carl was kind, funny, passionate, generous with his time, and imparted some wisdom I don’t think we’ll ever forget.
A heartfelt thanks to Carl. #RIPCarl

Been digging through my clips lately for writing samples, but I realized that I often view my own work with biases. So, I’m asking a selfish question:
What’s your favorite piece that I wrote, or one that you happen to remember for whatever reason? – at Toledo, OH
Can’t believe how hard and long the club fought this. Credit to the comms dept. who advocated on multiple occasions. COVID start in 2021 made things weird for sure, but it took 2 full years to grant access that has always been standard in MLS. – at Toledo, OH
Tonight, the media had its very first-ever locker room access provided by #AustinFC. Cheers to many more. 🎙️⚽️
It may seem weird on the surface, but locker rooms are where you develop relationships on a beat. You request access personally, have the chance to speak off the record and 1-on-1. Players can see you are a human and not just an online personality. – at Toledo, OH
