Beyond the pitch, there is a whole journey and this honor represents so much of it. 🤍⚽️
Being nominated for the Lauren Holliday Impact Award is incredibly meaningful to me because it recognizes something I deeply believe in, using the platform we have to give back, serve our communities, and create an impact that goes beyond the game.
My journey with community work, including my time with Soccer Without Borders, has reminded me that sometimes the most meaningful moments aren’t the ones on the scoreboard. They’re the moments spent showing up, connecting with people, creating opportunities, and hopefully making someone’s day or life a little better.
I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey, my club, staff , teammates and everyone who has cheered me on along the way. Your support has allowed me to continue growing, both as an athlete and as a person.
I’m honored. I’m grateful. And I’m just getting started 🫂🫶🏼

After scoring in four straight games for Banyana Banyana at WAFCON, she carried that momentum to Liga MX Femenil with Tigres UANL, racking up goal contributions in all FIVE games.
Her run includes FOUR goals against Toluca, making it 13 contributions in 9 matches.
Scorching hot form!🔥

There's a new version of this post
The worst thing Nigeria could do is get involved in a discussion of "we would have won if X or Y started". Swap in your favourite player and the result doesn't change. All tournament they have been chopping and changing. The problem lies deeper than that.
Should they be unentitled to correct treatment if they lost?
I don’t want to believe the Black Queens players actually wrote this joint statement. If they did, I’ll be very disappointed 🙁.
There’s nothing wrong with admitting the team played poorly at this WAFCON instead of trying to shift the focus onto unpaid bonuses that have already been paid and signed for. 😡
