I was an extremely guilty child, constantly wracked with shame. I'm happy to report that this trait has not translated to my daughter, who just fumbled a large watermelon, watched it explode on the ground, and declared "oh well, it was heavy."
I surveyed 4 personality handbooks and asked 2600 people how important it is to study each topic (from 1 to 5). All were rated above midpoint (yay!), but mental health/psychopathology, genetics/heritability/neurology, emotion regulation/happiness, and change/identity stood out.

I've had 4 proposals/defenses the last 2 weeks. I have 8 the next 2-3 months. A normal professor would complain and be overwhelmed. Not me, though. In a time of anxiety, I'm getting some of the best sleep I'll ever get. Then, I wake up, ask one question, and sign the form.
