Prof Joseph Okwuabudike Ojukwu, MFR became a centenarian today, 26 Sept 2026.
He is the eldest son of the late Mogul, Sir Louis Philip Odumegwu Ojukwu of Akamili, Umudim, Nnewi in Anambra State, & the eldest brother of the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu.
Prof Joseph Ojukwu was head-boy at @Kings_Lagos in 1943-44, before proceeding to @Cambridge_Uni & Guy’s Hospital, London, for his medical training, later becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in England.🎂🎉🎂

In a piece I wrote over six years ago titled "Prudence Over Profligacy," I demonstrated, using the balance Peter Obi left in Anambra, that it is still possible to be prudent in government. As CEO of the bank at that time, I advised Peter Obi to leave the money in dollars, not naira. The Soludo administration’s allegations do not invalidate what I wrote nor the credit he left behind. If otherwise, the Anambra State Government should publish the debts.
