The city of Beverly Hills lied to the public and Jaylen Brown that he applied for a permit, was denied, and the. Held his event anyway. Truth of the matter: that never happened. They apologized but it’s not enough. Where’s the accountability in terms of explaining how you could be so wrong. Brown’s quote in response to the apology (he said the damage already done to his brand) tells me he’s will probably sue or negotiate out of court. And he should. Shutting down one of the most famous NBA basketball players brands, events in the city of Beverly Hills, and lying to the public about the reason is extremely defamatory.
