Figure I might as well try to catch up on my Discords one more time before the hammer falls 😢 theverge.com/tech/875309/dis…
Replying to @fondrenlock
@fondrenlock when do you usually do the double hole in the door frame for the deadbolt, vs. just a single hole? Here's a video where you did the double hole youtube.com/watch?v=3R5i9U-u…
And here's one where you did just a single hole youtube.com/watch?v=XKzcHru_…

Alright yall; shameless plug - my kiddo is selling popcorn for cub scouts! The prices are bonkers, but the majority of the cash goes to the pack, so buying really does help the kids a lot.
Even if you cant buy, please like and share to help!

What is the function of this piece that comes on the IC-PRO 150 capping press? I did remove it as the sticker says, but Lab’s assembly video on YT didn’t have this piece and it seems kinda beefy if it’s just to keep the ram safe during shipping 🤔 #locksmith #sfic

Awesome package from @fondrenlock — thanks so much! Hoping to make a video using it for a deadbolt install within the next month 😊🙏
Never did anything w/ garage locks but hoping to make a key to this. SC1 blank fits in here but SC1 Lishi did not; gonna go back w/ SC20 & try again. Also, SC1 blank doesn’t seem to go in all the way to the shoulder. Anyone have experience w/ these locks? (179 code isn’t useful)
Just looking for general information if anyone has any. The SC1 went in almost all the way, but not ALL the way to the shoulder. The SC1 Lishi would have maybe gone in if I forced it, but I didn’t think that would be smart, so that’s why I’m going to try again with an SC20 Lishi.
This page says that JMA SC1s, which I used on this lock, are a bit thinner, so that explains why the SC1 blank I tried went in but the SC1 Lishi didn’t (or would really have to be forced) lockpicking101.com/viewtopic…
(The rest of the house is on KW1 so I’m not going to bother rekeying the SC1 garage locks, but would like to at least be able to provide the next tenant or new owner with a key to the garage locks.)
