🚨 Bernie just found a poll that agrees with him.
The Wall Street Journal asked people if they want free stuff.
They said yes.
That’s not a mandate. That’s a survey with no price tag attached.
The numbers they skip:
• Medicare for All still has no financing plan that survives contact with reality. Every serious score says trillions, higher taxes, and rationed care.
• A $20 minimum wage sounds generous until the same voters watch hours cut, hiring freeze, and small businesses close. California already ran that experiment.
• A “billionaire wealth tax” polls well right up until capital leaves, revenue misses the estimate, and the middle class gets the bill.
France tried it. Capital left.
Polling support for benefits without costs is the oldest trick in politics.
Ask the follow-up: who pays, what gets cut, and what happens when the math doesn’t work.
