I love Codex but it’s not practical for daily work - I had it on Codex 5.6 terra light and it chewed up my entire weeks usage in a day - I also had US$100 credit and it apparently chewed that up as well 🤷♀️ I had no idea - got no approval notification to use credits. So now I’m sitting here waiting for either a reset push by @thsottiaux or a week of non productivity 😭 Sadly I’ll have to use the other model that is capable of doing the same job - btw, it was just reading emails @OpenAIDevs

Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.

Beginning July 20, Claude Fable 5 will be included in all Max and Team Premium plans, at 50% of limits.
Pro and Team Standard users will continue to have access to Fable via usage credits, and will receive a one-time $100 credit.
Demand for Fable has been challenging to predict, which is why we rolled it out to subscription plans in stages, extending access several times as we secured additional capacity.
With GPT 5.6 Sol I managed to build out a nightly reporting system for my restaurant client that is going to help save them so much time - I tried to do it on another model, but couldn’t, so I gave the task to 5.6 Sol Ultra👍👍👍

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

Gosh, @ChatGPT 🫠 is doing some seriously crazy stuff, which probably means there’s a big update coming, which doesn’t surprise me given that Anthropic launched its most powerful model yet with Claude’s Fable 5.
And when I say crazy, what I mean is I was doing a deep research on a public figure and the deep research that came back with 144 searches and 19 citations was an executive summary on the best electric vehicles to buy in Australia in 2026 😂😂😂😂
There’s nothing more stressful than setting TWO alarms for a 6am AI training workshop and NEITHER of the alarms go off! 🤦♀️ fortunately I made it in time.
