Today, we rallied outside the @Target on 225th Street alongside community leaders and elected officials to demand answers and transparency. Last week, Oscar Belgal was shot by @ICEgov agents while sitting in his car, his five-year-old child in the backseat. While the shooting didn’t happen on Target property, it’s been reported that ICE had been using the Marble Hill Target parking lot as a staging area for enforcement.
As the steward of NYC’s pension funds and shareholders, we are demanding an independent, third-party review of Target’s policies, property use, and any cooperation with ICE. Following the shooting, our office sent a letter to Target’s board calling for independent oversight, read the letter: comptroller.nyc.gov/reports/…

In the debate she straight-up lied and said local law enforcement will work with ICE to remove foreign criminals. Not long ago she was on camera bragging about the law she signed that BANS local cops from cooperating with ICE.
