“In Den Haag overheerst de nu-mij-de -zondvloed-mentaliteit”- zo is het. De NL politiek is op een onverantwoorde manier bezig. Het ontbreekt aan de moed om “neen” te zeggen en de burger uit te leggen dat de overheid veel van de problemen niet kan oplossen en zeker niet tegelijk. Bitget, a major crypto exchange, was hacked on September 24. Attackers compromised a backend wallet system and spoofed transfer data. They used the exchange’s own signing process to drain about $387.5 million from hot and warm wallets across several chains (Ethereum, XRP, Zcash, TRON, and others). Private keys were not stolen, and cold wallets stayed safe. Withdrawals are paused while the company investigates with Mandiant and SlowMist; it says its protection fund will cover users. Bitget also posted a 5% bounty for anyone who helps freeze or recover the funds.35
