I want you all to understand something about me. I don’t smoke weed to sit around and get high. For me, it doesn’t make me feel wasted. It makes me feel normal. Without it, everyday life can be miserable. With it, I can function, focus, find some peace, and feel like myself again. People also need to understand that I’ve been on prescription medications that affected me badly. I’ve dealt with consequences that I believe are connected to what those medications did to my body. That experience changed the way I look at what I put into myself. You don’t have to agree with my choice. You don’t have to understand it. But don’t judge someone when you haven’t lived a single day in their body or carried what they carry. For some people, weed is about getting high. For me, it’s about quality of life. It’s about functioning, finding some peace, and getting through the day feeling like myself. I’m not asking anyone to make the same choice I made. I’m asking you to understand why I made it. And if you’re going to be a twatwaffle in my comments, understand something else: I will quote your post publicly and respond to exactly what you said. I don’t believe you’re going to enjoy the attention nearly as much as you enjoyed running your mouth. Disagree with me all you want. Just be prepared to stand behind your own words.
