“I personally am probably never going to fix world hunger. But I can for one.”
Sarah, a longtime ChildFund supporter, has sponsored dozens of children (and traveled to dozens of countries to meet them). Read what she has to say about why she gives back to children ➡️ childfund.org/stories/2026/f…

Young people are ready for the future of work. The question is whether the pathways will be there to meet them.
At ChildFund, we're building talent pathways that connect underserved young people to the skills, networks and markets they need to thrive in a globally connected, tech-enabled economy. Read more on our latest blog! childfund.pulse.ly/0myxv6tib…

Thinking of families in #Nepal and #Tibet today. 💔
With hundreds of people killed, and thousands more injured or missing – many of them children – yesterday’s catastrophic flooding is not something we can look away from. Rising global temperatures will continue to make emergencies like these more commonplace.
Children can’t wait for investment in disaster preparedness and heat resilience at the local, national and global levels: We need action now, for their sake.
When a community has lost everything to the chaos of an emergency, slowing down to play seems counterintuitive. But that’s exactly what children need most.
This photo taken in Quezon Province, Philippines, in a childcare facility we supported after Typhoon Fung-wong devastated communities in November 2025, says it all. Led by our local partners, families and children themselves, communities are slowly beginning to rebuild and find joy again after tremendous loss.
On World Humanitarian Day and every day, we’re so grateful for our humanitarian workers who put children first, no matter what – risking their comfort zone and even their lives to support the most vulnerable during crises.
Then and now ✨ Check out Droupadi's transformation!
When we met Droupadi in India in 2019, she was 2 years old and struggling with malnutrition. That was the year ChildFund began work in her community and started her on a supplemental feeding program.
Today, she's 9 years old, in third grade and thriving.
That's the difference YOU'RE making for kids around the world! Learn more at ChildFund.org
Let's hear it for Luisa 🎉 The HVAC business she started in her community in Bolivia is now thriving, thanks to her hard work (and a little extra support from YOU with her training courses)!
“What motivated me was having more tools to help grow the business,” says Luisa. “And I didn’t want this whole time of crisis — which has been heavily affected by inflation — to hold me back. On the contrary, I saw it as an opportunity to keep investing in the business, continue training myself, and keep learning more.”
Youth face many obstacles in today's rapidly changing job market, but those challenges are no match for the determination of young people like Luisa. Learn more about how your support is helping them build a brighter future: childfund.org/our-impact/liv…
Once a sponsored child, now a sponsor himself, Benjamin in the Philippines has had one incredible life story.
"As a sponsor, you become the bridge between a child’s present situation and a brighter future," he says. "I know this because I was once that child."

Any weekend plans?
In northern Kenya, Akai and her son Gregory are selling nutrient-rich sweet potatoes at market. 🍠 They learned how to farm this particular drought-resistant variety through a program built by ChildFund and our partners to help children in their area overcome malnutrition.
The impact in their lives has been huge: "We used to get food by chance. Sometimes we had it, and sometimes we did not. When we started farming, there was enough food," Akai says.
The program was made possible through the power of several strong partnerships. Read more on our latest blog: childfund.org/stories/2026/t…
The situation in Venezuela is grave following Wednesday's devastating double earthquakes. At least 1,719 people have died, and thousands more are still missing. Amid the staggering loss of life and damage to critical infrastructure is a third crisis: widespread family separation. Many children have been orphaned.
ChildFund is working through our trusted local partners to identify children who have been separated from their families and provide lifesaving support. Our response is twofold: to supply children and families with tangible relief like food and medical care, and to protect them from the dangers that abound in this chaotic environment.
Here are three things you can do right now to help:
🚨 DONATE. Our Emergency Action Fund gives us the flexibility to send resources directly to the places where children need help most urgently—like in Venezuela.

🚨 SHARE this post. The more people who understand the gravity of the situation, the more children we can reach with lifesaving support.

🚨 BREAKING: Children are in crisis after two back-to-back catastrophic earthquakes struck Venezuela yesterday evening, plummeting the country into chaos. The second, a 7.5-magnitude quake, is their strongest on record.
As search and rescue missions continue, the death toll is mounting—now at 164 and expected to rise quickly. Children and families who remain are grappling with the loss of homes, family members and the infrastructure they depend on for survival, including electricity, water and telecommunications systems.
No child should have to live through a disaster of this magnitude, but with your support, we can ensure children and families have what they need to survive and rebuild. Our partners are taking action to assess the situation and respond to children’s most urgent needs. Help now with a gift to our Emergency Action Fund ➡️ childfund.org/emergency/vene…
