They didn’t even tell Bangladesh they were gonna execute, Bangladeshi officials probably learnt about the court verdict at the same time I did.
One of the worst things that can happen to you is to come from a country with zero levels.

If you like someone and there's a glimmer of hope, go after them without choking them. Give it your all!
If it doesn't work out, you'll live with the satisfaction that you tried for the one you wanted.

If your friend is starting a project/company join them, lend a hand, or press money. This is how a lot of people became rich and advanced their careers.

Please put your clothes back on. I have just remembered that Dostoevsky wrote extensively about the consequences of poor impulse control, and I think we ought to honour his work.

Stop: trying to show that you're good at design.
Start: trying to build things you love.
Atul Gawande, what a man
I remember the first time I was introduced to using a checklist before surgery. It was brought up by the peri-operative nurse. This was in Naija and none of us were used to it.
She followed the list and asked us all to introduce ourselves, state our roles, confirm the identity of the patient. It really felt weird but we did it because we were open to improving patient care.
Now, I’m so used to it that I won’t do any procedure without going through it. It has made us catch wrong sided procedures and even once, the wrong patient for a procedure.
Medicine is all about embracing change and for me, as long as it doesn’t endanger patients, I’m always open to it.
