Don’t worry I will survive this attack. I had been carved from many traumas…dating all the way back to my childhood in the Residential Boarding Schools.

“No it certainly isn’t. But it was designed that way. From the beginning. We’re not suppose to be here. Reservations were suppose to be temporary. We were suppose to learn how to be assimilate and go live in cities. And this land sold too. But we didn’t allow it to be sold. +++

And now here we are. The government won’t help, because, it doesn’t want to. It wants us to die. It wants us gone. Because it wants the land. And that’s all it ever wanted. That’s why I want our land back. All of it. So we can build lives they can’t take away.”

“Kayce (@HEMRSHAL), you may have to get my daughter. I will try to calm the people down.” He looks at the members of the tribe who were protesting the Pipeline. “This is enough. I am working on the problem.”

“Mní Wičhóni! Water is life!” Dakota and the tribe are protesting the Oil and Gas Pipeline on the reservation. The same Pipeline would affect the Dutton Ranch. “It will pollute the water, make us sick, and the animals sick. This is sacred lands. You can’t do this!”

I need you in my corner. You have your Grandmother’s spirit. Her fire.
Dakota Rainwater@Dakota_Bear710 Nov 2025
She is lost in her thoughts this morning… “You know what? Shotgun gets to pick the music this morning.”
