The #ANZSCO classification of #paramedicine warrants a single stand-alone Minor Group classification despite currently having fewer than 50K practitioners. The reasons include rapid growth, public exposure, unique practice circumstances and the imperative of patient safety.

Yes, there are no regulated specialisations & there is a single protected title. Entry to practice is via nationally accredited university degrees & advanced/higher qualifications are quite common. They use different skills & various titles depending on the practice setting.
