"Be the man who is worthy of his portfolio size" I was underwater for 10 months of this year. What did I do ? Nothing much. Did some small buy but cannot remember which. Why don't I remember? All my buying are set months ago — gtc order. What do I remember? Zero selling. Tbh, it never feels good to be underwater for 83% YTD. But I always believe the money is always in the waiting and not buying/selling. And allow compounding to occur by simply not disturbing it. My portfolio has fallen>50% thrice since 2008 and each absolute amount gets bigger as my overall portfolio grows from 6 to 7 figures. Those amount, those drop can be a year or two of my 9to 5 income and I need to/ have level up myself to handle those temporary drawdowns. "Be the man who is worthy of his portfolio size."
