(Thread) I walk my dog Tom every morning along the same stretch of road to a small woodland where we get to enjoy walking through the changing seasons.

The old chap came down with vestibular syndrome last week, but in the past 7 days he's bullied his way through and is managing to wander around the garden albeit like a contestant from It's A knockout Out that would have Stuart Hall laughing out loud. Tough old boot is our Tom 🙂

Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been confirmed at a premises near Rosudgeon, St Ives, Cornwall. All bird keepers should remain vigilant and follow stringent biosecurity measures to prevent future outbreaks. See GOV.UK: gov.uk/bird-flu #BirdFlu

I'm starting to realise that if I unfollowed 3 or 4 accounts that post profusely then not a lot would be happening in my timeline so I've had a nosey on that Bluesky place - same tag as here, just trying to find folks!

I was sceptical about blue sky being like twitter of old, but it is and it's rather nice. Like a frog in a pot of warming water, I hadn't realised just how 'hot' is was getting in here.

I have to say that roasting a pumpkin before making it into soup makes a huge difference.

If somebody parks in a supermarket parent & child parking space and doesn't have a child with them (and does the shopping and returns without a child and leaves) would it have been anybody's business (member of public) to politely challenge them?

Hi @VancityReynolds. Big fan of Wrexham Lager, excellent news to see you're now a proud co-owner. :) Did you know the river Gwenfro in Wrexham used to provide the water for making the lager?

I know Red Kites are quietly common place for some these days but if you'd have told me back in the 90's when I worked for @Natures_Voice that I'd have two over my garden in the future, I'm not sure I would have believed you. Fantastic conservation story.

So 'block' means they can watch but they can't be heard? It's a weird bloke who owns this place these days. Good job he doesn't own what he thinks he does
Soon we’ll be launching a change to how the block function works. If your posts are set to public, accounts you have blocked will be able to view them, but they will not be able to engage (like, reply, repost, etc.).

It really would be a waste of money to not finish this project off. Many of the benefits will not be realised if it stops now.
