Rita Moreno’s unforgettable performance of “Fever” on The Muppet Show originally aired in 1976, with Animal wildly backing her on drums. The performance became one of the most memorable moments of her appearance—and it ultimately earned Moreno a Primetime Emmy Award in 1977. 🎶❤️

An Amazon driver stopped to untangle and salute an American flag outside a Kentucky home Monday, a moment that deeply touched the military family who lives there.
“Thank you for reminding us that there are still people who understand what that flag represents,” homeowner Ange Burnett said on Facebook. She is hoping to identify the driver so she can thank him.

In 2006 a high school English teacher asked students to write to a famous author & ask for advice.
KURT VONNEGUT (who left us 19yrs ago today) was the only one to respond.
His reply was a doozy.

Just 17 episodes of Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines were made in 1969. As a kid, the whole setup flew over my head: Vulture Squadron endlessly trying to intercept Yankee Doodle Pigeon, a patriotic WWI carrier bird delivering “secret” messages to “the enemy.”

This is the Pizza Hut a few miles from where I live.
The entire interior has not been touched since the 90s and they still often play classic cartoons on the TV.
They have a jukebox and brought back the salad /pizza bar a few nights a week.
A literal time 90s time capsule ❤️
