Today in 1994: MGM unveils sci-fi actioner 'Stargate' in theaters, where it would go on to gross $196 million globally and launch a TV franchise.
Brad Wright on TNG would have been amazing 😍
#SaveStargate
In the early 90s, I begged my then-agent to arrange a pitch meeting with the writers of TNG in their third season. I was a young Canadian nobody, but desperately wanted to write for Patrick Stewart's Jean Luc Picard. I developed three stories and pitched my heart out, but I couldn't close the deal.
I have few regrets in this business, but not having the chance to write for such a wonderful actor and character, whose voice I can hear so clearly in my mind even now, is one of them. Rest in peace, sir.
How would everyday life change if humanity really had access to the Destiny? #SaveStargate

Teal’c is so serious all the time. How did Christopher Judge manage to deliver his lines with a straight face? How was he not cracking up every five minutes?
We raised these and other important questions during our rewatch of Foothold.
