We were very lucky to receive some beautiful books from @WSHEnglishHub today! The children and staff were very excited and can’t wait to share them together. Thank you again English Hub.
Year 5 enjoyed their Hello Yellow day on Friday, with lots of fun and a focus on resilience and mental wellbeing. Top effort year 5 😀
Massive thanks to @friendsofcherry for funding the coach for today's trip, and to Mr Boath for accompanying us on his day off work! Most of all, thank you and well done to our year 6 children, for representing the school so wonderfully!
Year 6 enjoyed a great trip to Wild Woodcraft today, where we made fires (and bacon butties on them 😃) and shelters, carved throwing sticks and threw them at targets, then played Eagle's Nest. Fantastic day, and our pupils were brilliant despite the rain. Pictures to come...
Year 6 pupils have settled in brilliantly to the new school year - they've shown a super attitude and maturity, and worked hard already! A real credit to our school 😎
Good Morning Cherry Primary 😊 we are looking forward to seeing all of our families this morning , have a great first day back , your teachers have been working hard to get the year off to a great start 🌟🌟
Year 6 parents & carers - please provide your child with clothes for Forest School tomorrow. The forecast is for fairly dry - but also colder - weather. Sorry for short notice, but we will be unable to lend them spare school clothing in the current circumstances. Thank you.
One of our year 6 pupils recorded her thoughts about her return to school for @BBCNewsround - a very wise, thoughtful and caring individual 😃
