The only person I’ve seen wearing a poppy at this awards ceremony. For that alone, you deserve the award. Good luck, H! 👏🌺

🚨Marco Rose on Bournemouth’s 3-0 win over Ruben Amorim’s AC Milan: 🎙️ Reporter: What impressed you most about tonight’s game? 🗣️ Marco Rose: “I know what the scoreline says, and bravo to the boys. They played well, stayed focused, and got the job done. But for me, the most remarkable winners tonight were the AC Milan fans sitting in those stands. “I looked around at around the 90th minute. Milan were losing 3-0, they had received a red card, and the game was slipping away from them. Yet those supporters were still jumping, singing, and doing everything they could to lift their team. “When I saw the way the fans were cheering for their team, I called Ryan and told him to slow the game down. I didn’t want the fans having more to handle. They had already given everything emotionally, and the atmosphere was incredible. “Honestly, I don’t know how they kept that energy going. It was special to watch. I’ve seen fans lose interest, go quiet, and turn against their team when things get that bad. You’re 3-0 down, you’ve lost your goalkeeper, and you’re struggling to get back into the game. For many supporters, that is when the frustration takes over. “But not the Milan fans. They kept singing. They kept believing. They kept pushing the players, even when the result was no longer going their way. “And that tells you something about the relationship between those supporters, Ruben Amorim, and his players. They clearly believe in their manager, and they are willing to stand behind this team even when things are going wrong. “Football is not always about winning three points or lifting a trophy. Sometimes, it’s about what happens when everything is against you and the people in the stands refuse to abandon you. “Bournemouth won the game tonight, and we deserved our victory. But those Milan supporters showed something that no scoreline can take away from them. “If your fans are still singing for you at 3-0 down with ten men, then you haven’t lost their hearts. And sometimes, that is the most important victory a manager can have.”

They lost Solanke. They lost Ouattara. They lost Huijsen. They lost Zabarnyi. They lost Kerkez. They lost Kepa. They lost Semenyo. They lost Senesi. They lost Iraola. They’re without Kroupi Jr. They're without Scott. They've just beaten AC Milan to maintain their 100% record in the UEFA Europa League. AFC Bournemouth 🍒👏

🇬🇧 THE POPPY IS RED. END OF. 🇬🇧 It grew on battlefields soaked in the blood of our fallen. It represents sacrifice, courage and remembrance. It raises vital funds for veterans and their families through the Royal British Legion. It is NOT a political statement. It is NOT a platform for the latest cause. And it does NOT need redesigning to suit anyone's agenda. White, purple, black, rainbow or political flags, whatever the cause, leave the red poppy alone. There are 364 other days to promote your causes. Remembrance belongs to the fallen. Not to politics. 🌹 KEEP THE POPPY RED. 🇬🇧 WE WILL REMEMBER THEM. 🇬🇧 #Remembrance #LestWeForget – at Clayhanger, England
