No one is forcing you to buy a fursuit at that price. I think a lot of people who bring up this argument forget they have the freedom of choice rather than feeling entitled to a luxury art piece

The price for a decent fursuit partial now ranges from $5-6k.. It usually takes no more than 80 hours of work. Materials usually do not cost more than $1k.. that’s 75 HOURLY they’re bein paid. Physical assistants that cut people open on surgery tables make ~$64..

What they didn’t consider: - makers pay their own taxes (20-30% lost based on location) - medical insurance likely comes out of pocket - no pto - years of learning a niche craft - demand increases product price Fursuits are luxury items 🤷
