Think I’m going to do an ongoing thread of the things my boy has said or signed that has either made me laugh or surprised me!
I’ll start off with this:
The family sang happy birthday to him.
“Thank you.” was his reply.😃
Sang it again to him.
“Thank you everyone!”🥹
Rio, currently 3, found one of his toys he hasn’t seen for a few weeks. “Daddy, I found the stegosaurus, I haven’t seen him for years!”☺️
Astonished at the documentary of ‘My Wife, My Abuser’. Even more astonished at the ending of the whole ordeal.😳 #SickeningEnding

This is a powerful clip. Many young deaf children are currently experiencing this due to the closure of deaf schools.
When accessibility isn't prioritised, this can be the reality of being deaf at school 💔

Rio at Nursery:
A member of staff was telling a kid off and Rio came over and said “it’s ridiculous!!” 🤣🤣🤣
At home in the living room with Rio giving Mummy lots of attention as usual!
I said to him “You are such a mummy’s boy!”
“No I’m not Daddy! I’m your boy!”☺️
Rio dangling about on my legs.
”Daddy, me and Elijah are going to watch the Grinch later.”
”That’s nice! Can I watch with you?”
”No you can't Daddy, you're busy.” said with a stern look.🤣
Getting Rio ready for bed:
”You've got 5 mins to put your animals toys away before going to bed.”
”Give me 8 more mins Daddy”

A great performance to get a deserved victory against the Argentineans. We led the first half 2-0 and put in a great defensive display to deny their fly for majority of 2nd half. @engdeaffutsal

A great victory for England in the battle against Argentina! A dominant start for @FutsalLeon’s team putting Argentina on the back foot for the majority of the match. A late fight-back from Argentina was put aside with a solid defensive performance in the 2nd half. 👍🏻
A well-deserved, sweet victory against an established South American futsal nation.🙌🏽

Our finishing let us down again. It was the small details that made the big difference for Kuwait. Despite that, it was a great performance that we can be extremely proud of and learn a lot from.👌🏽
LET’S GO!
We start our Day 2 today with afternoon game against Kuwait with 2.45pm Kick Off at local time (5.45 GMT). The men team will be looking to see goals in their second game.

We had 49 shots overall with 33 of them on target. Even with that many shots, we did not perform well. We hope to have a much better performance and be a lot more clinical in front of goal!🤞🏽
Our first game ended in defeat against Switzerland. A deflected shot caught out our team. We will take this one and look ahead against Kuwait, runners-up in the 2023 Asian Futsal Championship - Kick off at 5.45 pm
