Very random aside in the context of everything. Always felt that Carrick chant was a little offside. Proper backhanded compliment, hard to believe it’s not Scholes? Ok.
Translation: He’s the only bloke they can afford.
There is a growing level of support for Julian Nagelsmann to take over from Michael Carrick if he is sacked by #mufc [@hirstclass]
If you offered to me that United get relegated BUT Glazers/INEOS sell up (to someone sensible). I’d take that.
lol

There’s a real risk that there’s so much dysfunction that Carrick doesn’t even get sacked. What a club.
Arm round the shoulder and he’ll be busting his balls off again, not even worried about that. Will he get that arm round the shoulder though?
Last comment on today. The notion of any sporting direction within the club is a fallacy. Wilcox does nothing, there’s no game model, no conditioning plan, no discipline. The manager is completely left to their own devices.
United can’t afford to not sack Carrick because the bottom has fallen out.
United can’t let Wilcox keep failing because he’s a big part of why the bottom has fallen out.
It’s impossible to resolve both at the same time.
