Great to be in Cabo Verde to share learnings from Ireland's experience of diaspora engagement. Spoke at the International Congress of Cabo Verdean Professionals alongside Minister of Culture and Creative Industries Augusto Veiga, Prof Manuel Brito-Semedo and Dr Filomeno Lopes.
Met yesterday with Minister Veiga and today with the Ministry of Communities and the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Cabo Verde to discuss our work at @EPICMuseumCHQ. Pico Lopes of Shamrock Rovers, of course, getting plenty of kudos. Thanks to @irlemblisbon for their support.

Good work being done by Liam Corry and @folkparkomagh to confront Irish roles in enslavement and settler colonialism. Learned a lot from Liam’s tour on Ulster migration and Black history. His next tour focuses on Irish interactions with Indigenous people: ulsteramericanfolkpark.org/w…

We were proud to welcome members of the Indian community to last night's UEFA Conference League qualification match as guests of the club.
The guests were invited in response to a recent assault in Tallaght on an Indian national. They were joined by local woman Jennifer Murray, who intervened to help stop the assault.
Shamrock Rovers opposes all forms of racism, bigotry, and discrimination and is strongly committed to supporting inclusion within the community.

#OTD in 1945 the Irish Women Workers’ Union began the Laundry Strike.
These women went on strike to win two weeks annual paid holidays.
After 14 weeks on the picket line the women won that right for all workers.
A right we all still enjoy today.
