Hi Twitter 👋 If you don’t know me, I’m Wiley Nickel. I’m the Democrat who won North Carolina’s most competitive congressional district against a “100% Pro Trump”, Madison Cawthorn-endorsed candidate: Bo Hines.
Chatham County is so fortunate to be represented in the NCGA by someone taught public service from childhood on!
Thank you, Mr Reives, for your efforts as a public servant and a parent!
Truly an honor to know and support this amazing leader!
@electreives we are SO happy to have you represent us!
From the bottom of my heart: Thank you all for your unwavering support over the past year. Without your trust in me, this victory would not have been possible.

On this anniversary of the Wilmington Massacre, we mourn the lives lost and reflect on the horrific event that took place. We must continue to be aware that systemic racism still persists and recommit ourselves to freedom and justice for all people.
#OnThisDay in 1898, a white mob led an attack on the African American residents of Wilmington, NC in an effort to regain political control. Known as the Wilmington Massacre, author Charles Chesnutt penned a novel in 1901 based on the event which some of his relatives survived.

So proud of a blue sweep in Chatham! Congratulations to @electreives, Sheriff Mike Roberson, Del Turner, amazing slates of commissioners and school board members, and biggest congrats of all to the amazing team of officers and volunteers that made it happen!
Per @WRAL and the NC Board of Elections!
Way to go, Chatham…now we needed the other 56% to show up Tuesday!!!

Look at this - it’s a comically dishonest political attack in NC.
Rep. Ricky Hurtado had his picture taken while picking up trash in his district.
His GOP opponent **photoshopped it** and is sending it as a mailer to attack him.
Let’s make sure this backfires.
Support Chatham County School Board member and fellow Democrat, Del Turner! We need to know our schools will CONTINUE to provide a quality education for all! delforchathameducation.com/
