Tim Sweeney gets it. AI won't replace creativity. It will remove barriers that have kept countless talented people from turning their ideas into actual games. Not everyone has the budget to hire a studio or spend years mastering every aspect of game development. AI gives more people a chance to create, but it doesn't guarantee they'll make something good. That still takes vision, creativity, and effort. The next gaming masterpiece might come from someone who could never have made a game without AI. That's the golden age Tim is talking about, and I'm all for it.

Creating a game by yourself when I was a teen: Learn C, assembly, computer architecture, memory layout, interrupt tables, digital images, digital sound and synthesizer, optimizing math by avoiding multiplication lol, how to program various different chips and peripherals in the computer without drivers etc. No debugging, mistakes halt the computer that takes minutes to boot. Sometimes you damage a disk or chip. Spend months working on it! Parents have no idea what you’r doing. Creating a game “from scratch” as a teen now. Ask LLM to make a game. Say: I made a game! Parents: omg so proud of our kid.
