Calling a former student “simple” on Twitter is terrible. It reduces a young person to an insult and implies he was always destined to fail. It betrays the trust young people place in their mentors and tells others watching that you’ll give up on them in a second, when the whole point of the role is to believe young people can change. Also, this a searchable, shareable comment that could be used against him in court.
Some things you keep off social media. Besides his parents, we’re now all wondering whether you were doing your job properly.

I hate that passport stamps are slowly becoming a thing of the past. They were one of the coolest little souvenirs you could collect without even trying. Now half the time you just scan your face, walk through a gate, and that’s it. Kind of depressing if you ask me. That shit genuinely pisses me off.
