Whoa... They're setting new standards in Swatara Township for data center community benefits agreements. "Chance of a lifetime to reset financially," says one commissioner: shorturl.at/BhDBk

Everything skills games is now back in the hands of the @SupremeCtofPA. Do they let the thing they already judged illegal stay in place for 4 more months? Or do we get a hard, but fresh start to see if people want to build this thing up legitimately.

God knows the Legislature is deliberate, but the court also knows that ordinarily, when something has to get done and there's broad consensus, four months is plenty of time enough to do it. Oh, the suspense.

Some helpful context on what's next in the latest @AaronBernstine controversy from my colleague @tirzahchristoph. Seems it comes down to how much of a pariah his House colleagues want to make him, and how his constituents feel about it come Election Day. shorturl.at/wPEHV

In honor of legendary journalist John Baer, the Pennsylvania Legislative Correspondents Association has renamed its summer journalism internship program. It's now the John Baer Legislative Reporting Internship, where student journalists get to work for 12 weeks every summer in the Capitol alongside the professional reporting corps that covers it daily. It's a paid internship, supported by donations and volunteerism. You can support future interns in honor of John, who spent many years helping to fundraise for the program one former intern called "an experience you can brag about, and I certainly have." Here is where you can donate: pacapitolreporters.org/how-t…

Did the @NFL yank the @StateFarm ad featuring the @Giants running back? I don't know if anyone else thought so, but it seemed so tone-deaf to me for a league desperately working on head/brain safety. I couldn't imagine it ever got green-lighted in 2026.
