Had an amazing time showcasing our DARE Academy game 'Heldritch Rush' at the @NtlMuseumsScot last weekend! Thanks to everyone who came along and checked out the games 😁
Last weekend, staff and students from Abertay showcased their projects at the @NtlMuseumsScot, from a retro-futuristic VR game to a first-person cooking simulator set in hell, including 3 #DareAcademy2024 games.
Massive well done to our talented staff and students involved! 👏

Fantastic visit through to Stirling Uni today, doing some playtesting with the Socialudo team on our card drafting/set collection card game that explores ecoageing and retrofitting housing to be more sustainable and/or accessible! #BoardGames #AppliedGames
Hats off to puzzle designers. Spent the last 1-2 hours trying to ideate ONE simple environmental puzzle for my DES311 project, and my brain feels like mush now 🙃😴
Alan Wake 2 is already a pretty surreal experience, but it's amplified when all the enemies are yelling your own surname while chasing you.
Best part of my home office reshuffle has been the addition of a desk bed for Murph so he can snooze beside me while I do uni work
Made good progress on our DES310 concept, got grades back for last term, got an internship opportunity, AND I finally beat Baldur's Gate 3 (only took me 7 months...). 10/10 day! 🎉
Shoutout to my awesome DES313 classmates and @MonaBozdog for taking the time to playtest my board game prototype, "Defiance", the other day in uni! Lots of great feedback that will go forward into the next iteration 😁🚀
Trying to write a case study about problem domains in the games industry, but the only problem domain I see is this rascal trying to sit on my keyboard.
