Perfection is the arch nemesis of productivity. Like Nike say, “just do it,” and then watch the magic happen. (Image shows light shining through the center of a leaf)

The light you’re looking for right now already exists within you. When we do our spiritual work, we reveal that light. Don’t confuse yourself. Everything you are searching for is already a part of you. You don’t find it, you reveal it.

This is one of my absolute favorite songs to sing with people and is a staple of Singing in the Dark. Od Yavo is a classic, and I have so much fun playing it in a minor key thanks to the arrangement of @dannichols. (Video is me playing my guitar and singing.)

A very Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it. Love and light - Charlie (This image is a graphic with the words "Merry Christmas, sending love and light - Charlie Kramer".)
I think of silver linings as being a gift of light sent to us from the creator. The creator only sends us good things. When you feel like you’ve been handed a negative challenge, look for the light sent just for you. (Image is me stood with my blind cane, illuminated in the dark)

Every night before I go to sleep, I recite the Sh’ma. It translates “Listen Israel, God is everlasting, God is one.” I like to think of it like this: God is one-ness. God is everything. Everything is God. Everything is one. (Video is me playing my guitar and singing.)

One of the traditions of Chanukah is to place lit candles in a window to send light out into the rest of the world. When you are going through a dark time, remember to look for the light surrounding you. (Image is of me at nighttime looking wistful.)
The more you discover the light within yourself, the more you see the light in others. (Image shows a dark figure holding a guitar in the air and the sunlight shining through.)

It's amazing what gratitude can do! Listen to the latest episode of The Charlie Kramer Podcast on any podcasting app for more about the science of gratitude. (Image is a graphic with the words "Gratitude brings us relief from anxiety. The Charlie Kramer Podcast, Episode 8)
This song, Blessed Love, by my friend Chava Mirel (@chavam) brings me so much peace when listening to it, that I had to learn to play it. I hope you feel the light shining through this melody in the same way I do.

I've started to think about Chanukah, the festival of lights, differently because of my connection to light & dark through my eyesight. I may have night blindness but I have learned that my spirit can always recognize light. (Image shows a close up of me smiling.)
Chanukah is the festival of lights. This sacred time of year is all about light & miracles. Darkness is often thought of as the absence of light, but light exists everywhere - there is light all around us all the time. (Image shows a hand lighting candles on a Hanukkiah)
