As an OC you have to accept that you will be in the most critiqued position on staff. Everyone thinks they can call plays and that it’s easy. In reality it’s one of the hardest coaching positions in all of sports. But that’s also what makes it one of the most fun positions.

Congrats to Episcopal School of Jacksonville and Amberjax alumnus Julian Smith as he captured his first individual NCAA Championship in the 100 breast (49.55) last night in Federal Way, Washington. Way to go!

🚨🚨 BIG NEWS 🚨🚨
highschool.athlonsports.com/…
Governor @RonDeSantis has backed Florida high school coaches receiving a pay raise. We cannot thank Governor DeSantis enough for his support of our athletics community and all those hard-working men and women all across our great state who coach on a daily basis.
Everyone who needs to be at the table, is now at the table. Together, let's work on legislation that will not only keep our coaches in Florida, but will also address an issue that impacts thousands of lives across the State.

"You can fake it to a coach. You can fake it to a teammate. But at the end of the day, you have to look in the mirror and ask, "Did I give my all today?" If you quit on wind sprints, if you quit on 3rd and 2, what are you going to do when life gets tough?" @inkyjohnson
