Nebraska finishes off a dominant performance in the third, 25-16, solidifying that No. 1 ranking. Although Pittsburgh may have something to say about that with the Panthers strong start.
Nebraska has pulled away in the third set, leading 19-13, and looks well on its way to a sweep. Abby Vander Wal may not have made the ultimate difference, but she would have helped the Longhorns. She on the Texas bench with a brace on her injured leg, suffered yesterday.
Texas has fought valiantly, but Nebraska is just better. After finishing off another 25-19 win, the Huskers are up 2-0.

That ends a good day of volleyball at @playerseravb at @TMobileArena in Las Vegas. Like so many of these events around the country in the last week, this was great showcase for the sport.
Another grinder of a set for Texas, but the Longhorns hang on in the third as well, 25-23, to sweep TCU.
Texas gutted out another set, winning #2, 25-23. The Longhorns still haven't looked like the No. 2 team in the country yet this season, but can't doubt the way they have played the biggest points today.

It astounds me how people who call themselves sports/basketball fans still don’t know the backcourt rule.

Bad news for bubble teams. Columbia just grabbed the Ivy AQ for now with a 2nd win over Princeton. The Tigers are still an at-large for now, which takes away an at-large spot—ASU falls out.
This is not a criticism of the data. It’s just an observation. Vanderbilt’s NET ranking stayed the same (7) after last night’s win. No improvement. And the Commodores are 3-0 against the teams directly in front of them (Texas (4), LSU (5), Michigan (6).
I’m not sure I have seen a young guard play with as much confidence against the outstanding Texas defense as @VandyWBB Aubrey Galvan. She is unbothered by anything.
