With the help of AI, I translated one of my smaller stories (written about thirty years ago - picture is same age). It certainly saved time, but the corrections (misinterpreted sentences, pieces left out) took a couple of hours charles-warter.com/sites/def…
To download "Angst en Verraad" a direct link can be used: charles-warter.com/sites/def… or have a look at the "writing" page at my website: charles-warter.com/sorry-mos…
Somehow the pdf of "Angst en Verraad" (Dutch, sorry) was not available for a while. We only discovered it when Gemini started to hallucinate, making Ralf Plater (Symphonie Phantastique) the manager of Wolfgang Trivitsjenski (Vijandige verstarring). Now it's back!
Checking whether Pinterest would be a good platform to promote my paintings and objects, I made a board. nl.pinterest.com/CharlesWart… After a month I conclude that it's not the right place for this kind of art - if any. Leaving and looking for next platform.
To be more visible, I decided to make some Pinterest boards nl.pinterest.com/CharlesWart… Let's see what it'll do!
The document "A Fake History of #Almere" is still available: charles-warter.com/sites/def… (or go to the home page: charles-warter.com). A Dutch version also exists: charles-warter.com/sites/def…
This article at #AlmereDezeWeek is in Dutch almeredezeweek.nl/nieuws/alg… but the book about the #Fake History of Almere itself is also available in English! See charles-warter.com/
This week & week before I was at an elementary school to tell the children about art and painting. For group 3/4/5 it was about light being split. They loved my huge (glass 😄) diamond. For group 1/2 it was about mixing colours. All children painted flowers.
"A Fake History of #Almere" (pdf, download) can also be downloaded directly: charles-warter.com/sites/def… There is also a Dutch version: charles-warter.com/sites/def…
It's a personal contribution to "Almere 50".
Finally my "A Fake History of #Almere" is available (pdf, free download). The booklet was written because of "Almere 50" and presents 50 cases with photos - some going back to the Romans others to the middle ages😂 charles-warter.com (links at homepage).
For I while I didn't paint at all. First several #paintings have to find their way to schools and businesses (about 12 found a new spot, 30 to go: see pictures). Then I was also busy with my booklet "Fake history of #Almere" which I will share next week.
Last week I visited a primary school in #Lelystad. The head master selected a painting ("Cloudy Landscape with Warehouse" - see picture) for the school! Hopefully more schools will accept my offer. Still sending out emails.
Currently I'm mainly focusing at schools, to give them paintings/objects for free, but companies are also welcome if they would like to own some original art works. Download catalogue: charles-warter.com/catalogue still over fifty works available.
Silent for several months: busy to get my paintings/objects out in the open (rather than stacked in my attic). Emailed over a hundred schools - two accepted a set of free paintings! Do you know enthusiasts? (preferably w/i 50 km radius around #Almere).
...That's why I discard the sketches and studies for
realised (and unrealised) works I found in a cupboard today... (full text see second picture - too long).
Tinkebell won an important prize! (I could not find an article in English, sorry) parool.nl/kunst-media/kunste… I think she really deserves it - she's a brave artist!
