Very surprising to see a presenter I admired as a kid deciding to slate me on social media. In an industry where women, especially black women, have had to work incredibly hard to get ahead, this type of disrespect from a fellow female journo feels like s’thing from a bygone era

I’m so proud of @AnushkaAsthana. Sad to see her leave us at @itvnews, but excited about her next adventure. She does politics like no-one else. Her scripting is top class. Her delivery on point, impeccable & easy to understand. She’s also just a brilliant, kind, amazing human 💕

We earned the nomination for the launch of our domestic abuse campaign, Facing It Together. Incredibly proud of the whole @loosewomen team. Especially those on the panel who shared their own stories of domestic abuse.

And do you know how I know?? The many many times I couldn’t book Lorraine. Why? Because she was busy doing Cynthia Erivo’s wig for Wicked, so I had to accept I came second in Lorraine’s life at that point in our lives 😩😂.

So much of this resonated with me in terms of the ebb and flow of female friendships when parenting and trying to conceive are thrown into the mix. Made me a bit emotional thinking of my own various friendships. Thanks ladies @LexyTopping @helenpidd

Racists who argue with David really are a fascinating section of this here app. They really do think they can “school” him on parts of history they really know little about. And will argue with him til blue in the face that he’s wrong without ever *actually* picking up a book.
