#flu cases are at an all time high ⬆️ 📈🦠, putting enormous pressures on GPs & hospitals. Do stay at home if you are unwell, practice good hand hygiene & get vaccinated if you are eligible for the flu vaccine. Stay safe for the festive period! 🙏

Flu data: Increased at medium levels: Hospitalisations: 8.72 compared to 5.79 per 100,000 last week Positive tests: 21.7% positivity compared to 17.3% last week Vaccination percentage: Risk group under 65, 37.6% pregnant women 33.1%, over 65 73%, 2-year-olds 40.3%, 3-year-olds 41.6%. COVID-19 data: Stable at baseline levels: Hospitalisations: 1.48 compared to 1.71 per 100,000 last week Positive tests: 3.4% compared to 3.7% last week. Vaccination percentage: Over 65 58.6%, under 65 in a clinical risk group 23.2% RSV data: Decreased at medium levels: Hospitalisations: 2.81 compared to 3.22 per 100,000 last week Positive tests: 11.8% positivity compared to 12.6% last week Data from week 50: 9 December to 15 December 2024
