Thank you for putting one of these at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. I used it when I had a long wait in A&E with a friend. I didn’t have time to plan ahead and take a battery and charger - it was just why we needed enabling us to stay in touch with those at home

Staff have devised a scheme to make surgery less scary for children and young people.
Surgical care practitioner Patricia Velazquez-Ruta and anaesthetist John Coombes came up with the idea of creating special caps for youngsters to wear in theatre.
