Lo-Fi Remix beat flipping Take 6’s “Come Unto Me” Pastor @ChuckMingo asked me to make for his sermon. Had so much fun playing this live on the MPC One during service at @crsrdschurch.

My wife joined the 40 & up club today. Happy Birthday @ChardeJones! You’re fun & amazing. You are selfless, & intelligent. You are caring & not a record keeper of wrongdoings. The fullness of who you are is truly hard to quantify & we are blessed! Cheers to the next 40!
Dear Young Chardé,
You have made it to another birthday 🎂 You have experienced so very much, but there is so much yet to see and be. You could have never imagined, that the sleepless nights and endless nightmares, would become sound, restful sleep.
But, oh, you are BREATHING. You are happy. You are loved. You are kind. You brighten and shift rooms. You smile wide and laugh loudly. You hug tight and speak with intention. You know your worth. You sense when to drive and when to slow down.

My youngest son, Elisha, recorded his 1st Christian Rap song called, “God Got Your Back”. He also made the beat & it’s a banger! So proud of him. Check it out at open.spotify.com/track/0gpKF…

Marriage goal for this time next year is to have more collaborations w/ my wife @ChardeJones so we’ll have fresh songs for the road. Last time we shared a stage together prior to performing in Washington a few weeks back was in 2019 when we did, “Shepherd” at our church.

One moment when I knew @ChardeJones was the 1 happened Jan 2005 at the Holy Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta. I ordered 1,000 copies of my new album '14 2 Life' to sell at the event, but a shipping mistake sent them to the wrong address, & I had to hit the road before tracking them down

SoundArt Technology Lab (@SoundArtTechLab) is my new business launching in February! This space will mainly serve as a music production classroom offering various beat-making classes for all ages. It’ll also be a hub for music industry workshops, live beat-making sessions & more.

Happy 18th birthday to my daughter Naima! We officially now have 3 adults in our house. Such a joy to be around. She’s the 1 that kicked off parenthood for @ChardeJones & I & what a blessing she is. Excited to celebrate her 🎊
