Tough day today, 2 b/e and 4 losses (-3.5R). Had some good reads on a few trade ideas that I hesitated too long on and missed them, and the rest I was in either didn't work never or meet my first PT. Importantly, we live to see another day!

I will say I stayed disciplined even though I was frustrated and didn't spiral out of control. If you want to have the ups, you also have handle the downs so all part of the game. Let the math do its thing and we'll be back on track soon 🙂

I'm currently on a 9-trade win streak in my XFA(s). I don't think I made it past 3 wins in a row in all my trading up until now. I'm so heavily focused on my discipline, and I'm seeing a crazy amount of improvement. Looking forward to a few months from now to see where I'm at 🙂

$NQ +6.3R✅ - ERL -> IRL - Filled on the 2 pm wick (startled me a bit lol) A longer than typical trade for me. As it progressed, I kept seeing more and more confluences that it would hit my TP as it grinded down slowly, and it paid off!

Stumbled across some of my past trading notes again, this trade setup is still one of my faves! Paired with a new m5 candle open for the expansion phase makes this even better 🧠

Starting off strong getting back into regular trading! This is my 2nd ever payout from a prop, and hoping the turnaround has begun towards consistency 🙂

@Topstep stats on the XFA for this payout. Had one terrible morning where I broke some rules but managed to get back on-track and keep it going! Taking it slow and steady risking $350 on the 150k per trade but it can add up fast!

🧠 Been thinking about my model and what exactly I'm looking for to confirm my entry. This three m5 candle sequence is exactly what I'm looking for in a reversal. Perfect timing to me would be: 1) New h1 @ :55, :00, and :05 2) h4 reversal @ :25, :30 and :35

$NQ +2.8R✅ - 14:30 low, missed the 14:35 new m5 candle entry - Snagged the next m5 open at the m1 +OB - Mismanaged cutting way too early but had the right read at least!

Having a realization today that we truly are in a golden era of "low value add" work being delegated to robots and AI. So much information and learning opportunities are at our fingertips, and it's up to us to utilize it.

3) I used VScode's AI agent mode for the first time to test it out on adding a feature to a hobby webapp that I developed. What would have taken me a 6-8 hours to learn and figure out how to do/implement/test, took 30 minutes of chatting with Claude.

I'm so stoked to see how things progress over the next 2, 5, 10 years. As more jobs/tasks become automated, new jobs will emerge that keep shifting what we can actually provide the most value for with our time. Truly feel blessed to be alive during this time to see it unfold 🤙
