There he is...
The boy looks almost innocent like this, but Lindsey knows all too well that looks deceive.
He seems wary, this requires a more delicate approach.
"You come here early too, hm? Gotta strike it lucky in this big city somehow."
"Price is not an issue," he says, tapping against the counter with a black credit card.
"I'm sure the opening hours can be set generously, hm?"
"I have clients that enjoy your type of liberated ways, clients that require more discretion than a barside chat."
He smiles smoothly and takes a seat. "I'll have a whiskey on the rocks while I'm here."
Lindsey approaches the counter and runs his finger across the counter as if checking for dust.
"I hear you're a talented man, Mr. Miller. An *interesting* man."
"Oh, I'm listening."
He takes out his tablet to jot down a few notes based on what Belladonna was saying.
"We are aware that he is more accomplished than most any other vampire, but any experience you wish to share is greatly appreciated."
The firm has an interest in Angelus, so we are working on it.
I'm not afraid of vampires. We're equipped to deal with it, and whatever happens, happens.
Angel, yes. Ugh.
Angelus was a worthwhile creation. Poor Darla had no idea how disappointing he'd one day become.
But that mistake can be corrected.
