6 weeks early - Baby boy number 4 just couldn’t wait to join the madness. #Momademia #ThePhDParent
Day 2 at the Royal. What does it say about motherhood when I’m classing this as a bit of me time? Can’t get more self care than hospital care.

If you’d like to hear me waffle on about my research into #MaternalMentalHealth, my life balancing research and motherhood and the difficult parts of sharing my own (sometimes dark) maternal narratives. Check out this Pod. Thanks Eva and Sarah for the great opportunity #momademia
Today, on the PhD Talk podcast, we interviewed @Chantzelle about her research, motherhood, and what it's like to do a PhD @lborouniversity buzzsprout.com/1524652/11655…

Being the big man in red is so stressful 🎅🏼 I always appreciate my own mum, but even more so in moments like this.
For the past 2 years a Parents Wellbeing Cafe has been a lifeline in my most darkest moments! I have made true friends and together this year we made decorations for the Christmas Tree Festival. This may look like chaos, but quite frankly so are most of our lives #senparenting 🎄

After some recent critique of and contestation about autoethnography as a valid methodological approach, we are keen to put autoethnography firmly back into the researcher’s methodological toolkit. The book will cover history and traditions, ethics, research design and much more

Tell parents and families they are not alone. This is far more common than most people know, because families feel blamed & ashamed. Let's shout it from the rooftops. Lots of kids aren't fine at school & it's not their fault. Change needs to start in the system, not them. 7/
Dear twitter,
I think I might be drowning.

If you’re working from a coffee shop what’s the correct equation for beverage to hour working (using their electricity, Wi-Fi, and just generally taking up space)?
Also, what do you do with all your stuff when you need the loo?

As a clinical psychologist, I'm often asked what to do about school refusal. By which adults usually mean, how can we get the children to go to school and stop protesting? Here's why our kids need us to think differently. 1/
Just had my first post-miscarriage “Are you going to go for number 4?”. Obviously this person didn’t know that four weeks ago I lost number 4. To save them (and maybe myself) the embarrassment I said truthfully “I’d love more”. Why is it so hard to say out loud #ihadamiscarriage

With only 2 days left of school, I’m looking for any advice on working from home during the summer holidays with 3 very lively boys constantly shouting “MUMMMMYYY”? #7weeksand2days #neverenoughsnacks #thoughtsandprayers #academicparents #momademia
This year has been a lot harder than expected for these boys.
There has been battle after battle but on the last Monday of the year Im finally feeling positive. Who knows what next year will bring but know I will never stop fighting for either of you 👊✌️#senparenting #momademia
Hands up if you love a conference 🙌 #MGSDTPconf22 #academicparents #momademia @LboroDocCollege @saul
For the last two #maternalmentalhealthawareness weeks I have tried to show other mums they are not alone by writing #dearfellowmum letters of encouragement.
Today I wrote a letter to me.
