The Instagram crackdown is not going to work! The government is taking down thousands of posts and accounts every day, but it seems to be missing a fundamental point. Instagram is just a platform where people are raising their questions. The reasons behind those questions exist far beyond social media, and taking down accounts won't make them disappear. If anything, this censorship risks creating even more distrust among the very people the government is supposed to answer to.

#Imp: As much as the right-wing trolls would love to see a controversy here and mislead people, Justice Kaul is right: 1. This was at a private function. 2. Justice Kaul was a private citizen, having retired two years before that. 3. No question of mentoring—I’ve been in touch with 100s of lawyers, judges, and ex-judges since my reporting years. 4. “Taper it down” is an advice I have gotten from literally EVERYONE who loves and/or supports my work lol. Justice Kaul was kind enough to also speak his mind with me. And that is exactly how it should be! 5. The issue here is not about who was photographed with whom. The issue here is the grave revelations by Justice Kaul that paint a very dark and dangerous state of our judiciary, proving institutional capture. Rest is all a DISTRACTION.

बड़ी ख़बर- प्रयागराज में टीजीटी-पीजीटी अभ्यर्थियों का धैर्य जवाब दे गया। बैरिकेड हटाकर शिक्षा निदेशालय में घुसे। अभ्यर्थी टीजीटी-पीजीटी भर्ती में पुरानी नियमावली से परीक्षा कराने की मांग को लेकर शिक्षा निदेशालय के सामने दूसरे दिन भी धरने पर बैठे रहे। मगर न कोई अधिकारी मिलने आया, न कोई सुनवाई हुई। अधिकारियों का पूरा का पूरा कुनबा सत्ता की जयजयकार में डूबा हुआ है। अभ्यर्थियों से बात करने की फुर्सत किसे है? उन्हें मालूम है कि राजा को कुछ पता नहीं चलता है और खुदा न खास्ता पता चला भी तो समझा देंगे, जिस दिशा में चाहेंगे, सत्ता के इंजन को घुमा देंगे।
