Great job by @ChanceCaylor @Justinlen97 and the rest of the staff providing a great club championship. Just hair under 13 feet on the stimp on the final day.

More rounds, slower turf recovery, and unpredictable weather create challenges for superintendents in the Southeast during fall 👉bit.ly/4xIZzxI

Kicking off maintenance week with verticutting fairways and talon tines/STrac verticutting greens. Valuable tools in our fight against excess growth in this Florida climate

The storm surge earlier this week introduced a lot of sodium to the rough on 18. A good rain or two should flush it down through the soil profile and allow it to recover. (I picked up that piece of trash, don’t worry @scuffiemagee )

About 6 inches of rain forced the crew to push mow the fairways. Turned into a stripe show though🔥

Anyone criticizing moisture management on the greens this week is misinformed or the town fool. Look at the foot printing in the wilt on 18. This is a masterclass on how to present a golf course over the week of a championship. Mad respect to Jon Jennings and the agronomy team.

Harry Higgs just gave the best press conference I've witnessed from a golfer in at least a year. Talked about "choosing confidence." About making his first PGA Tour cut of 2026 at Shinnecock (!!!). And about briefly forgetting his pants at this U.S. Open. Give this a listen.

This is why we have traffic stakes and signs everywhere. Not sure why you have to drive through the fescue. Perfectly good cart path right there. Must be all the outside event play.

This is the most “The European mind can’t comprehend this” moment of my life. One of my friends said, “Punch me five times tomorrow and I’ll still think this isn’t real.”

Restoring this week’s @PGAChampionship venue required lots of two things: photographic research, and tree removal 🌲🚜 Here’s Gil Hanse on why the latter piece was essential to revive Donald Ross’ vision for Aronimink ⛳️ @SmylieKaufman10 | @charliehulme | @SportsGridTV
