Very often "pacing" in books is simply used by people to describe the rate of delivery of things that interest them.
Since readers' interests vary wildly, two people can have opposite views about the pace of the same book.

We continue to plug ahead with marketing the Witchy War kickstarter project. We're about halfway through the pre-launch period.
If you like alternate history, or epic fantasy, or Americana, or playful, culturally literate narratives, or Bible-influenced fiction, I invite you to check out the project page at the link below, and please hit "Notify me on launch."
That will mean you get an email the minute I hit the big green button and we go live. The great thing about that is it lets us coordinate and make a big initial splash, getting a bunch of backers all at once. This will let us get attention, on kickstarter, across social media, and even in the world of publishing.
Thank you.
