NMSU linebackers coach Jared Hensley is now also listed as the Aggies' special teams coordinator. The position was left vacant after former tight ends coach and ST coordinator Nelson Fishback joined Coastal Carolina's staff.
Hensley enters his 3rd season on NMSU's staff in 2026.

Kentucky's Seth McGowan led all running backs in the vertical jump (42.5 inches) and broad jump (10-foot-11) at the NFL Combine.
Arkansas' Mike Washington Jr. was second among all running backs in the vertical jump (39 inches) and broad jump (10-foot-8).
What is interesting, however, is that both were teammates at @NMStateFootball in 2024.
Proud of the boys! Just watch the tape. REAL DUDES 🫡

Wild, both Seth McGowan and Mike Washington Jr were at @NMStateFootball in 2024, recruited and coached by former Minnesota star RB @DCobb27.
Now top RB prospects in 2026 and lighting up the combine!
